Youth Mentoring In West Valley of Phoenix

Youth Mentoring in West Valley of Phoenix

Forge Youth Mentoring strives to connect generations to restore hope in our communities and to help young people discover and pursue their full potential.

We do this by bringing two worlds together through the power of mentorship. Adult mentors have the opportunity to learn from and pour into young people who desperately need their support. Through mentoring, youth are able to overcome adversity to pursue their dreams, goals, and passions.

Dave Hauser

Chapter Director for Phoenix, Arizona

Dave was born in Spokane, WA, and raised in Oregon. He is the youngest of six and his father was a pastor. As a result, Dave spent most of his youth in and around churches. He graduated from Oregon State University and became a high school math teacher and basketball coach. After 33 years as a math teacher, Dave retired in June 2022. Dave and his wife have been married for over 30 years and have two adult sons. Dave enjoys spending time with his family whether it be a restaurant or home-cooked meal, a swim in the pool, a bike ride, or a multiple-day trip together. For him, It has been exciting to begin to build a Forge chapter here in Arizona.

Bringing the Community Together

FORGE Youth Mentoring Phoenix is currently serving youth in the West Valley area, including Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, Glendale, Youngtown, and more. We will continue to expand throughout the greater Phoenix Metro area as we develop partnerships with churches and other youth-serving organizations.

Overall, FORGE serves in 4 states, coming alongside families in Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, and Arizona. Do you know of a city that could use mentoring services? FORGE will continue to expand throughout the nation with help of volunteers and community partners, such as local churches, school districts, and other youth-serving organizations.

Real Mentors for Real Life

Our mentors are everyday people who have faced challenges, learned from them, and want to pass on their wisdom to the next generation.
